Tim Phillips grew up in the UK and studied languages and music before moving to Germany in the mid-1980s. Since then he has taught English at various VHS, business schools and companies, not only in Germany but across Europe and South-East Asia.
In recent years Tim has worked for the global educational publisher National Geographic Learning and their German partner Cornelsen. Besides looking at the language itself, he enjoys exploring the challenges of using English as a tool for global communication with people from other cultures. He is a qualified Trainer for Innovation (Helmut-Schmidt-University) and a business coach (Solutions Academy, Bad Homburg).
Tim is interested in current affairs, enjoys reading a good novel and going for very long walks in all weathers.
