Unsere langjährige Kooperationsreihe mit dem Deutsch-Afrikanischen Zentrum, der Informationsstelle Südliches Afrika, der Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Entwicklungsdienste und Netzwerk politik atelier e.V. befasst sich in diesem Semester mit dem Thema Sicherheiten.

Africa’s justice and penal systems retain colonial foundations that perpetuate inequality, criminalize poverty, and disproportionately harm women and marginalized communities. Feminist lawyering confronts these structures through community-centered, rights-based approaches that advance equity, dignity, and decolonial justice reform.
Placed by AGIAMONDO, Rebecca Mweru Kabejja worked as a policy and advocacy specialist for AdvocAid-Sierra Leone as part of the Civil Peace Service from 2021 to 2024. She is a feminist lawyer and Pan-African feminist whose work challenges racialized and discriminatory justice systems globally while centering decolonial principles and the rights of marginalized communities.
