Artificial intelligence (A.I.) is now everywhere, and many claims are made about what it can do. This class will revolve around the different domains of A.I. and its impact on our everyday lives and work. Topics include A.I. in the spheres of: education and learning; art and creativity; jobs; environmental consequences; medicine and psychosis; human intelligence, consciousness, and super-intelligence; legal and copyright issues, and so on.
The emphasis of the course is on speaking, group discussion and sharing thoughts. Vocabulary and grammar will be addressed when they are relevant for communication and understanding.
Requirements: about Abitur exam level English or better.
