In this advanced English course, we explore big questions and ideas together. We listen to TED Talks, read related texts, and engage in deep conversations. We also build vocabulary and practise writing through a range of activities. Topics include: Making a Difference (volunteering), Jobs (Career Paths), How We Live (How the rest of the world lives, organized by income), and Success (Does Luck Play a Role). The course is for anyone who wants to stretch themselves linguistically to achieve their personal or professional goals in a small, friendly, and diverse group.
