As a member of the "European Association for the Education of Adults" (EAEA), the Volkshochschule Bonn is part of an international network of institutions in the field of adult education.The EAEA is the largest network of associations and institutions in the field of adult eduucation on the European level. It currently has 120 member organisations in 41 countries. Its main tasks are to support all issues concerned with lifelong learning on the level of European politics, to develop a “Best Practice” through projects, publications and trainings, to provide information and service for its members and international cooperations.
Moreover, we take part in a Grundtvig project and are in contact with professionals in the field of adult education all over the world via “DVVInternational”. In cooperation with the Deutsche Welle, the Bonn office of the United Nations as well as Bonn University we contribute to strengthening Bonn’s profile as an international city in the field of acult education.
