Pakistani vegetarian cuisine is a celebration of colors, flavors, and traditions. Each dish radiates warmth and reflects the diversity of centuries-old recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. From creamy daal to hearty vegetable dishes and fragrant vegetable pulao to popular street food dishes such as potato kebab, stuffed paratha, and chana chaat, each plate takes you on a delicious journey through culture and comfort. Fresh herbs, bold spices, and slow cooking transform simple vegetables into heartwarming meals. Participants will also learn how to make delicious mix sabzi, spicy bhindi, and soul-soothing khatti daal. It's healthy, vibrant, nutritious food that nourishes not only the body but also the soul. Cooking will take place in the teaching kitchen with induction hobs. Please bring a few plastic boxes for possible leftovers and something to drink. The costs for cooking ingredients of 15 EUR are already included in the fee! This course is suitable for anyone with an A2-B1 level in English. If you have any food intolerances, please contact the department before the course evening.
Please observe our hygiene rules in the teaching kitchen at the Haus der Bildung. More information at: https://t1p.de/k9gj5
